I have been taking piano lessons with Cassandra

since May 2010. She is an outstanding piano teacher with superb style of teaching that combines theory and practice including, techniques, finger exercises and lessons that is highly commendable. Since I started taking lessons with her, I have significantly improved my sight-reading and dexterity of my fingers and I have started playing pieces from Bach, Chopin and Beethoven and other classical composers which are advanced to my level. Cassandra is very patience, reliable and always strives hard to bring the best out of her pupils. It’s fun taking piano lesson with her:)

My experiences with Cassandra Wang has been great!

I have been taking lessons with her for about 3 years and yet she is still teaching me material I have never heard of before. When I first started, she taught me the basics. From relaxing my arms to training my fingers, all these little things she taught has made me a better pianist. Every time I go to Cassandra for my lesson, she always makes me feel comfortable before we begin. Then after listening to my pieces or scales after I play them for her, she gives me advice to make them better. Instead of just playing a piece, she takes the time with me to achieve every little detail like the dynamics and the beat. Cassandra is a great piano teacher and anyone who takes lessons with her are bound to love having her as their teacher.

Successful AND Fun Piano Lessons

I experienced Cassandra as a very patient and kind teacher. She was able to motivate me at all times. The Perfect Teacher

Cassandra quickly determined what I needed concentration on and my capabilities. She focuses a lot on my fundamentals (which are weak) but her lessons are still progressive enough that I can see fun results (like playing a song). This keeps me motivated and excited to continue. A talented and friendly teacher

Honestly I realized that it is hard to start taking piano lessons during college but Cassandra, who was a talented and friendly teacher, encouraged and helped me to improve my level. Especially if you're an international student, you will not feel under pressure while taking lesson from her but you also have to practice regularly based on her assignments to get benefit from her lessons.

I have been taking classes with Cassandra for a month now, and I can say that even though I had no exposure with any instrument in my whole life, she really makes the learning process an easy, not to mention an entertaining one.
